Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy de-Domme, France on August 9 1976 the fourth child in the family. Her parents, both dentists, and teacher in a school, were supportive and encouraged in her early interest in theatre and drama. It was her initial desire to become a master monkey was eclipsed by her wish to pursue a degree in theater and drama. At the age of a young lady the rise to fame was fast and punctuated by the beginning of her achievement. Following her studies in 1998 she took part in the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before beginning the journey to become an actor. Although she studied at an institution called the Institut Catholique de Paris and had a religious affiliation in her early years, Tautou is now averse to this upbringing, stating that she is not officially Catholic. In addition to acting, she took up modeling and was the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. Alongside her acting profession, she has an interest in photography. The actress recently showed some of her photographs in Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival with the name Superficial. Her work is mostly focused on fame and celebrity and is focused at the media who have scrutinized her after her meteoric popularity with Amelie as well as a series of self-portraits. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom and international fame when she landed her first role in a major film, as the main character in The Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie was a box offices and was well-received during awards ceremonies around all over the world. It's still the top grossing French language film in the US. Following the release of this film, Tautou starred in numerous films, that ranged from British film to Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long day of the fiancailles. After that, she shifted to Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code.
