Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress, is well-known for her roles as the character Dr. Sydney Hansen in NBC's drama Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. Her breakout role as Eleni andros Cooper on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light was also praised.
